Indian men and women. The program begins at the river's source - amid the icy, snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas - and follows it down through Indian countryside inhabited by an abundance of indigenous wildlife, from elephants to tigers to peacocks. It then moves into the ancient and hallowed city of Varanasi, before finally moving into the Ganges delta, where the river flows into the sea and the land itself witnesses the union between Indian cities such as Calcutta and the Sunderbans swamps. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi

Really interesting 3-parter on the river Ganges (in case you couldn't guess). Parts 1 and 3 are very intriguing and show areas of India and Bangladesh that you may not even know exist.
