What If You Could Reach Back In Time? What If You Could Change The Past?
I can't believe I hadn't seen this movie before. Simply Amazing! Probably James Caviezel and Dennis Quaid best films. The movie deals very well with how they change the future back and forth. The plot is ver... read more -

A film I love to watch over and over, a time travel film with something of a different portal, reuniting Father and Son, changing the course of events of not only the family, but of a Serial Killer case.
The isn't flasless, but it's an enjoyable story and different story for thi... read more -

Jim Caviezel is AMAZING in this performance (the tough cop, the New Yorker, the paranoid cynic, the crying, the almost crying). I personally love any story about "time travel," so the scientific implausibilities don't bother me so much. It's still a surprisingly effective thril... read more

It's funny how revisiting a movie can drag you back to the time and place where you first saw it. Frequency, for me, vividly conjures up Sydney, Australia, in the year 2000. In all honesty, not the best of times nor the best of places for me, which perhaps explains why I h... read more

A completely ridiculous movie that makes very little sense in the real world, but Dennis Quaid makes this movie so much fun. Jim Caviezel is by far the worst element, I feel like he is one of the most uncharismatic actors to ever live. It's not exactly memorable or all that great... read more

October 5, 2009fb619846742An extremely well-done thriller. Has all the needed elements, that being suspense, a crime story, smarts, and a heck of an ending. If you think about it to hard, you might find some holes, but if you just sit back and try to enjoy the movie, most likely it will be one of your fav... read more

Excellent thriller about a father and son who can communicate through a wireless in different decades. They realise they can change history so they try to stop a murder. Great plot and cast.

Why gripe about a few minor inconsistencies? Just relax and enjoy the show. Full Review
A fairly wonderful movie about fathers and sons and the mystery of time. Full Review
Movies sometimes end up looking like a head-on collision between opposing impulses. Frequency is that kind of movie. Full Review
A thriller that actually thrills.
There are story concepts so far-fetched that no movie can recover, no matter how finely acted or sincerely made, and Frequency is a prime example.
Frequency may be the first time travel fantasy to move grown fellows with 401(k) accounts to tears. Full Review
My head says Frequency has a 31/2-star first half and 21/2-star second half, averaging out to three stars. But my heart says: Don't miss this one.
Not only does the film benefit from that 'what if?' fascination of being able to change fate, but it allows Quaid and Caviezel to do some effective emotional button-pushing without pushing their luck. Full Review
Frequency submits itself for our approval as a solid thriller, if not necessarily a timeless one. Full Review
