Jay Austin (Kendrik) is the kind of used car salesman that customers fears most - dishonest, manipulative, and constantly smiling as he sends another lemon driving off the lot. Eventually Austin's deceptive ways catch up with him, prompting him to take serious stock of his life from the ground up. Now, as Austin begins working to get his classic convertible back on the road, the repairs he performs under the hood begin to reflect the personal transformation that he is going through at home and at work. Determined to turn his life around for good this time, Austin soon finds out just how good things can get when he begins applying the philosophy of Jesus Christ to everyday life. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Whilst this touching film has not the slick production value of later Kendrick brothers films, I must say it remains my favorite.
The underlying story is dead on, and for those who don't believe in such things, my heart cries out for you.

Very very low budget religious movie. It does mean well, but the acting is dreadful (Michael Catt isn't too bad though). Way overlong, it get it's point across in 45 minutes.

Flywheel is by the makers of Fireproof & Facing the Giants. This is the first movie they ever made, actually. It's a sweet & simple talle of a greedy used car salesman whose life is turned around for the better. There are a few really funny scenes. Altogether, an uplifting and in... read morespirational film :)

A great story of an Used Car Salesman who turns his life around and starts doing what God wants him to do! It makes a huge impact on him and others he knows because of his change.

Wonderful movie. Apparent that it was not high dollar professionally made movie but the story line and message was so great. I cried thru a lot of it. You must see it to appreciate it!!!

This rating isn't exactly sure either cuz I need to watch it again. Quality was definitely not the greatest, but of course they had a really small budget. It had kind of a cool story and it had cool moments. There might be a couple things I would have changed in the storyline or ... read moresomething, but overall I didn't mind it and enjoyed watching it fairly much.

STOP RATING THIS MOVIE SO HIGHLY! All right. It had a good heart behind it, it really did. And the story itself isn't too bad. But the script is badly written, the acting is terrible, and the production quality is just all-around low. I'm glad that some of this got fixed in Facin... read moreg the Giants, and I can only hope that their next movie will be even better so that I can stop having sloppy movies representing my beliefs.
