Neither Piper nor Dodge particularly like each other; matters are not improved when they are chained together. When a prison riot transforms into a break-out opportunity, they get to know one another better on the run, and neither is any too thrilled about it. The action soon grows fast and furious when they realize that they are not only on the run from the usual police authorities, but from several different kinds of police and a gang of mobsters, whom Dodge has unknowingly endangered. ~ Clarke Fountain, Rovi

A fast, furious and relentlessly exciting action-packed thriller that's a non-stop great time. It's wickedly funny and incredibly enjoyable from start to finish. A smart, funny, sexy and exhilarating roller-coaster ride that doesn't put the breaks on for anything. Laurence Fishbu... read morerne and Stephen Baldwin are terrific, they have have such outrageous and enjoyable chemistry. They mix toughness and comedy perfectly together. Typical, overly vicious odd couple action-comedy since The Defiant Ones.

this was a goofy and over the top chase flick but it was entertaining.

Fled is a pleasant surprise! Cheap and cheerful it may be, but its none the less entertaining. The chemistry between Fishburne and Baldwin doesn't entirely feel natural, but it still works and is the source of most of the big laughs. Meanwhile the action is suitably revved up and... read more simple to keep you going through its relatively short running time!

A rather silly action movie. The actors attempt to make this a legit action thriller, but end up making it even more corny with their over-the-top acting. It's not the worst action movie ever by any means, but it's not a very good one either. It was so cheesy that I wasn't even s... read morelightly surprised to see RuPaul make a cameo.

I will admit that I only watched this because of Salma. I would think that even the people who read the script would have thought that this was absolute crap by the time it was the 90s. Good, but not great shoot-'em-up. Don't look for plausability, just watch the explosions and gunplay kinda thing.

Scripter Preston A. Whitmore II and helmer Kevin Hooks are obviously well-versed in film lore, for they have concocted a hodgepodge that recycles elements from several white-black team movies. Full Review
