I didn't have much of a hard time following FLCL. I was really surprised! It helped that I knew ahead of time it was random and "nonsensical," but some of my seasoned anime friends were clueless when they saw it. For once my awkward thought process worked in my favor. I ate up th... read more

Incredibly fun and wild anime. Extremely original with an exceptional eye popping sense of style and animation.

Must see humorous show. A short watch with only six episodes. You will want to watch it again and again. Filled with pure randomness that by only watching it a hundred times will you be able to make a plot.

One of the best animes I have EVER seen. So funny (and crazy). It's crazy because the english is better then the japanese for it. Absolutly brilliant! And, God, the soundtrack! The Pillows really know how to rock!

Totally awesome and kick ass, the animation is fantastic and way over the top, it's fast paced, and is just awesome, there's no other way to put it

It was decent. But it seriously made no sense. It made my head fall off. But great animation to an interesting point. I might have to watch this again, I don't know.

I'll ignore the obvious. This is what got me back into anime and just animation in general after going through a dry spell: robots popping out of a kid's skull, guitars, puberty, and a rockin' soundtrack by the Pillows! I love you Gainax.
