Sequel to an already bad film, Firestarter 2: Rekindled is an unnecessary film that continues what the first film tried to do. This film is sloppy in its conception, and I felt that they could have done much better than this. Considering some impressive names attached to this pro... read more

Looking every bit like the first installment of a planned tv series (some original programming for SYFY or FX maybe), this has the rushed incomplete feel of that medium, forsaking depth and meaning for bigger, louder, faster, while actually achieving none ot that.

I found this movie had made a crushing compared to the first original movie. I really didn't expect to but I actually laughed because I did not think the acting was good enough and really stunk. The story line or script for that matter was completely all over the place and should... read more

I was disappointed that this movie had different actors than the original Firestarter. I did find that it was such a attention catcher that all was forgiven. I am glad that I watched it and will do so again.

Liked the first one but this one was a big step down. Acting was mediocre and the crappy child actress was horrible. Why not just use clips of Berrymore from the first one. And why change the plot of the first one to make this one work?

This movie was going OK but at almost 2 hours in, I stopped it to see the running time and it's almost 3 hours!!! That's insane! It's not Titanic!! Anyway, it had potential, but that ruined it for me and I stopped watching.
Critic Reviews
Though it lacks the energy of the first, it's an entertaining sequel with much more action and suspense.
