Since this no-brainer is basically a hybrid of frat-boy comedy and slasher-thriller exploitation which features no slashing, no humor, and fails to exploit anything, it's hard to determine what the pr... read more read more...oducers really had in mind. The plot (it's in there somewhere) has something to do with a campus killer who likes to practice his own variety of hazing during Hell Week, but mainly it involves a lot of brain-dead college losers (played by similarly challenged non-actors) who blabber their way through one pointless dialogue scene after another before the murderer finally decides to bump them off. He could have done away with them before the cameras began rolling and saved everyone a lot of grief. Whatever fit of prudence prevented director Jimmy Huston from showing any scenes of graphic bloodletting (often the only points of interest in other lame entries from this subgenre) also manages to rob the film of whatever cheap thrills it might have been able to provide. ~ Cavett Binion, Rovi

    Final Exam is another 80's slasher in a long line of slasher movies that came out of that decade this one follows a group of college students stuck on campus studying for there tests when of course a killer just has to show up and start killing off the student body one by one and... read more yes of course someone is gonna have to stop this madman but will they be able to? i was being alittle nice given this movie 2 and half stars cause from what i even remember of this movie there wasnt much blood you didnt see many kills it was more or less missing alot of what makes a slasher movie a slasher movie to start with so watch at your own risk

    What a tremendous waste of time. A lost slasher flick from the 80's that should have stayed lost. Blatantly rips off Halloween frequently, no gore whatsoever, a split second of nudity is the only reason for an R rating in this, otherwise it seemed like an after school special. Bo... read morering scenes of dialogue that serve no other purpose then to pad out the running time to feature length. The jump scares are horribly executed, so they fail on that as well. Characters dissapear from the movie with no explanation why, and the killer is never explained. Who was it? Why was the person there? Why stalk these students? Etc Etc. Avoid at all costs unless you are a horror COMPLETIST!!
