As a medical professional, the second half of this movie was really interesting to me. Two of the scientists who worked on this bomb unwittingly became the first cases of acute radiation sickness. Little was known about radiation poisoning before the atomic bomb was dropped on Hi... read more

If you're a history buff this is worth watching once, though might be a bit melodramatic for your tastes. It does feature the great Paul Newman and a decent supporting cast, including John Cusack and the late Natasha Richardson, but I fear a lot of what transpires in this movie w... read more

Good cast, but they don't seem to have their hearts in their roles. The period detail is so-so. Too long for it's own good. It really drags in the middle, still, the effort was there and it was an interesting subject matter.

Fat Man and Little Boy is a fiction based on the Manhattan Project, but it is thin and unfocused and hardly even suggests the enormous moral and practical questions that the scientists wrestled with i... Full Review
Disappointing biopic about A-bomb creation
Serious film about the ethics of the men who ushered America into the nuclear age. Full Review
An interesting historical drama, but lacks the personal touch.
Intersting, insightful histo-drama with Newman doing his job above and beyond what is called for.
A bit clinical, but also quite enlightening.
The movie might actually have been good if it had been done with a little more pinnace. Full Review
It's just too distanced to allow us to get involved. Full Review
