One of the great American giallos, Eyes of Laura Mars is an unsung little thriller masterpiece. Very little gore and violence is actually seen taking place, but the score makes it a hell of a lot more thrilling than violent content could. I can't believe I've gone all of these ... read more

So, I got to see this movie again yesterday. It's very interesting how Laura has psychic powers, yet doesn't know who the killer is till the end, but then the ending is cliche. Overall, it's pretty good, but it could be better.

A great film but I was sad at the end when Tommy Lee Jones (John Neville) was the killer. Worth a watch & a classic 70s film :)

The Eyes of Laura Mars begins with legitimate promise, itching at the surface of this New York art-or-trash aesthetic that sort of serves as an interesting mirror for the movie itself. It seems to have a few smart ideas about the scene it deals with, ideas that quickly fizzle out... read more

A lot like the movie Hideaway. But a little better. Tommy Lee Jones was good...but he's a little too young.

Undeniably stupid thriller that still manages to milk out some style along the way. Well-acted, but this is another "surprise" ending that I guessed long before I was supposed to.

A fine thriller, the professional cast works in it?s favor, as does the excellent score. Professionally made. It doesn?t fully convince, but it held my interest for the most part. Rene Auberjonois is good in a supporting role.

An old movie that I remember seeing in the theatre while I was in college. A pretty good suspense movie. Not so good by modern day suspense standards.

Predictable predictable predictable.
The hints of John Carpenter that stick out of his screenplay are nice, but the rest of this is just mediocre.
Critic Reviews
Turns out to be as superficial as the chic art scene it rails against. Full Review
grisly and gonzo
Still pretty creepy murder mystery starring Dunaway and Tommy Lee.
Vogueish tripe.
Entertaining, trashy thriller that's sometimes laughable
Pulpy and dramatic mystery-thriller.
