I'm usually on for insane heist films but the below average non sensical lackluster Entrapment is a huge mess in all of the wrong ways. Firstly, the muzzled plot destroys any chance of chemistry between ... read more -

As far as heist films are concerned, Entrapment is often overlooked and it's no surprise as to why. The film has a mood of overbearing cliches thats been done a hundred time before. Done better too. But theres a strange appeal to this film that just makes it a passable heist/acti... read more

Entrapment is exactly what this film is guilty of. It is a snare for all those lured to cinemas by Sean Connery's charm & Catherine Zeta-Jones' bum, and the false promise of an enjoyable crime caper.

A pretty good heist movie as Connery plays a daring thief thought to be long retired. Has good chemistry between the 2 leads and the scenes filmed in Malaysia at the Petrona towers are cool.
Critic Reviews
Lives up to its title -- spend 100-plus minutes with this lacklustre thing and you definitely feel snookered. Full Review
A creaky star vehicle if there ever was one!
The legendary Sean Connery and the enthralling Catherine Zeta-Jones are less than the sum of their wonderful parts! Full Review
Entrapment simply reminds us again how far Hollywood is from the true legacies of its greatest genre directors.
Another soulless, by-the-numbers attempt to resurrect a genre that made money for the studios in the past.
The kind of slick, sleek entertainment that shows audiences a good time mostly because of an elaborately tricky plot. Full Review
An adventure movie without two brain cells to rub together. But Connery's sad and reflective acting gives the movie depth and poignancy. Full Review
The movie deflates early and sags from there!
