A fun and apparently completely forgotten little Muppet Christmas film. It is out-shined by The Muppet Christmas Carol and The Christmas Toy which might account for it not taking on as a the Holiday film it was intended to be. The Story is a reworking of sorts of the short story... read more

A forgotten Christmas special from Jim Henson. I didn't get to see this as a child, but sought it out as a Jim Henson fan and enjoyed it.

I don't know if kids today could see past the puppets with visible strings, but this movie has some catchy tunes, and a good moral story. If nothing else, it's good for a laugh.

When I was a kid, this was our FAVOURITE book, year round. When they made it into a movie, I was already much older so couldn't really 'appreciate' it as much as my younger sisters. I still think it's a cool Christmas story.
