Hopefully if Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels return as a duo for a sequel to be released (if it does) we'll be able to forget this awful tragedy of cinema.

There's a fine line between dumb enough to make a hilarious movie, and so ridiculously dumb that it's hard to even let out a nervous laugh here and there. Though the original DUMB AND DUMBER was a good example of a former, this prequel is the perfect example of the latter. DUMB... read more

This was god awful, one of the worst films in the history of man kind, not funny at all.

Prequel to Dumb & Dumber is an incredibly bad attempt at outdoing the original. Where to begin? The acting is terrible, the jokes are unoriginal, the script is terrible. This film one of the worst films that I have ever seen, and it doesn't deliver anything funny or amusing. The ... read more

Weirdly enough, this was actually slightly entertaining. Sure, it's a sequel to a movie that could have not ever been made and no one would care, but it still delivers some nice timing and comedy skills unknowns aren't liable to possess.

It's a lot more juvenile than the original, but it was a lot better than I expected. It had a lot of inside jokes from the first and you could tell it was made by fans. Eric Christian Olsen actually did an almost dead on impression of Jim Carrey, I was really impressed.

If you even consider watching this, make sure to sock yourself in the face. Fifty times.

I wouldn't want you to consider even renting this thing.
To call it sophomoric would libel even the most pathetic, pimply underclassman.
The movie should have been called The Dumbest, because it no doubt will emerge as this summer's most inane release. Full Review
Every bit as awkward as its title, 'Dumb And Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd' is missing not only Carrey and Daniels, but also the creative spark and anarchic spirit contributed by brothers Peter and B... Full Review
Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd sounded like a bad idea, and the movie removes all doubt. Full Review
Christian Olsen to mug so hard as Lloyd that he looks like Carrey being demonically possessed by Jerry Lewis.
A flat-footed comedy whose best moments are in the outtakes at the end.
A dull and dullerer movie likely to make audiences feel numb and numberer. Full Review
For those who recall the laxative overdose sequence in the original D&D as a comedy classic, there's a gag here about a melted Hershey bar that I thought might make the preview audience soil itself. B... Full Review
