See I have problems with new Indian Movies. I rather stuck on the old ones between Black and whites till mid 90`s "Bollywood" stuff. I took a tiny bit look on this one and thought christ this is a Copy.

An interesting follow-up that centralizes on Jai and Ali (whose now a cop). The two are helping fellow cop, Shonali Bose, to catch the infamous thief, Mr. A. With the help of Sunehri, they follow Mr. A to Rio de Janeiro in hopes that they would catch him in the act. Great cast- Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra, Bipasha Basu, and Rimi Sen. Worthy!

I do like my occasional Bollywood movie. And you can't go wrong with the big ones, like this one. Well, you could go wrong at parts. My biggest question after watching this was whether Pixar gave them legit permission. But I can say this movie is very polished and a great product... read moreion that keeps you attentive for the most part.

Still, this movie has some really awkward moments. The fantastical doesn't bother me as much as how awkward the basketball scene is (I don't think they ever touched a basketball before this scene) or a few of the fights (which are not choregrpahed as well as the dancing). However, the humor works at moments and the routines are fun. Everyone in the movie is good eye candy and I have to admit that the wire work and general idea of the fight on top of the train that doesn't look very CG is good. Actually, not too much of it was harshly bad on the CG scale, like the Cliffside flying.

It's a good taste of big budget Bollywood. Nothing too bad to say about it other than it could have been better, but I can't expect perfection.

D2 was regarded as the biggest hit of the multiplex era, before Aamir Khan?s Ghajini smashed all records.
D2 is action, fantasy, romance and laugh riot all rolled into one. But there is a strong emotional thread that runs through its cops and robbers storyline. D2 is also famous... read more for the sizzling chemistry between the lead pair, Hrithik and AIshwarya, both in negative roles.
It is one of those rare Hindi movies where the suspense and humor are kept alive till the last reel.

Imagine a Hollywood action film, but then amp up the cheese factor and add musical numbers. Essentially, that is what this film is. Two Mumbai police officersfind themselves on the trail of an International Super-Thief known only by the symbol he always leaves behind, "A." The... read more fact that A is a master of disguise leads to such classic scenes as him pulling off a jewel heist at a museum by disguising himself as a statue! A quickly outsmarts our heroic detectives, but he suddenly has to contend with another thief pretending to be him. This turns out to be Aishwarya Rai and understandably A finds himself drawn to her, even if she seems to be a bit of an airhead. Quickly he agrees to make her his apprentice, but who is she really working for? This film has over-the-top action scenes, random explosions, motorcycle chases, silly musical numbers, and even the annoying comical sidekick. Calling it an actually "good" film might be a stretch, but damn it's fun and a lot more enjoyable than many Hollywood blockbusters.

I'm shocked by this film's low ratings elsewhere. Okay, a thinking (wo)man's film this ain't, and anyone looking to it for that needs their head checked; but man, agar zara dhoom machaana ho, it's pretty unbeatable. Pure fun, pure eye candy, and purely guilty pleasure.
