This is quite a good horror film that does borrow a lot from other films like Bloody Mary, Cabin Fever and a few others. It's a little slow to start and it won't please gore fans, but it was much better than I expected it to be.
An unassuming group of vacationing high school students incurs the wrath of a relentless supernatural killer in this tale of terror from beyond the mirror starring Dominique Swain. They had no idea th... read more

Very impressive indeed. The beginning starts off with no dialog and yet still tells us about a lot of stuff through the visuals. The cinematography is fantastic, desaturated and highly professional it puts most horror films to shame. Great directing keeps the build up almost pain... read more

Surprisingly and clever supernatural and blood-soaked chiler. This film is a part like The Evil Dead.

The opening will put you to sleep. Some where about forty minutes in, a good premise begins to develop, but since the most interesting character dies first, you stop really caring what happens. Much wasted potential.

Can we say Evil Dead rip off meets Candyman? Even so, not the worst thing that I have even seen this week lol. The plot summary here is wrong... it is late 20-something friends since high school, not teenagers involved. The story focuses on who is "one of them" so who can you tru... read more

It was alright...kinda creepy at times, but it's not one I'd want to watch again.

This film frustrated me at every turn, as it starts out rather front loaded with emotional character-related stuff, then continues to exploit that as characters become possessed by the titular creature/character. The paranoia and distrust sort of reminded me of the turn that thi... read more

Dead Mary, the demonic version of Bloody Mary. I liked it, but the demon talks a little too much, mentions the end of the world and then drops that just as fast as it began. Too bad, think of the potential with that one.

I know this movie didn't get the greatest reviews but I actually thought it was pretty good. I did miss about the first 20 minutes so maybe that affects my judgement a little but I enjoyed it overall. It was kind of similar to a modern version of 'Evil Dead'. I'm glad they decide... read more

I was really enjoying this up until the end. What the heck?!?!?! They failed to explain anything....and left huge holes in the plot. You watch the credits thinking there's gotta be something more after this....come on! This had potential for one more star until they pulled tha... read more
Critic Reviews
By being more psychological in its frights, Dead Mary manages an extra layer of spookiness, but it also risks losing less patient viewers in the process. Full Review
Unfortunately, once dead and zombiefied, these chatty chums are no less talkative than before - forget flesh ripping bites, they'll talk your ear off sooner than sink their teeth into it. Full Review
