After seeing the promising trailer for this film I thought I was in for treat. I wasn't. It?s a very amateur film that rips off loads of other horror films and tries to be funny. It has no originality at all! In fact there is only one funny moment and it lasts for 5 seconds but i... read more

Not necessarily "The U.S. answer to Shaun Of The Dead", but a fun flick with lots of gore.

God only know why sum of these actors got into this film. -

This movie was kind of amusing. I think the best part was that country minstrel-type guy who tunred into a rapper after he died. This movie really ran with the post-modern zombie movie premise and kind of descended too far into camp for my taste. It had some really funny moments ... read more

To me...this film is just one big joke. If it weren't a musical, (yeah, I said musical) I would probably give it a chhance, despite the non-funny humor. However, there was blood, so I'll give it just a little credit. Otherwise, it is terrible. Do not watch it.

December 26, 2011fb100000185301014Only a little bit funny, it's painfull to watch the whole film with all the nasty actors/characters and bad scripting. It's a bad copycat of Shaun of the Dead.

I only watched the first half. I love the tagline, 'It's like a bad horror movie... only worse' and it's basically true. It's fun and campy but doesn't quite hit the nail on the head. Maybe it improved in the last half.

Critic Reviews
Matthew Leutwylers horror movie about six young people trapped in a creepy small town goes for parody and fails. Full Review
It's hard not to like a movie in which the leader of the zombies uses a decapitated head as a hand puppet.
The blood is raspberry syrup, the gags gag, and the film virtually falls over itself informing us how lame it is. Full Review
I laughed, I marveled at Gina Philips and Ever Carradine, and did I mention that I laughed? Full Review
If you're in the mood for zombie splatter fest filled with cool rockabilly tunes, Dead & Breakfast is where you need to end up. Full Review
Reminds me of the slightly retarded mutt in a room full of intelligent purebreds. Yes, it may 'sit' when it's told to 'roll over,' but it tries its best to please you. Full Review
A parsing of better splatter flicks; like a Cliff's Note, it's good for cheating but bad for a screenplay. Full Review
...there's not a whole lot here worth recommending. Full Review
This little independent gorefest serves up creativity and campiness almost from beginning to end. Full Review
