This is a good movie, with good actors, and a good story. It's a dramatic and exciting thriller. I saw it a while ago, but I remember it was good.

"I think I'll have a large order of PROGNOSIS NEGATIVE."
Bette Davis has a brain tumor and about 10 months to live. A classic that's replete with melodrama and old fashioned sentimentality. -

Is there a bad Bette Davis movie? If so, I haven't found it yet. This is one of my favorites.

This is certainly one of Bette Davis' best roles (as well as one of her personal favorites). Great story, wonderfully acted by all with an awesome cast. It does tend to lean toward melodrama a bit too much, but that's also part of the films charm.

Bette in her prime. A touching and tragic story about a woman who finds her true love -and that she has a fatal brain tumor at the same time. An interesting character role played by Humphrey Bogart.

This one was Bette's personal favorite performance. My only dislike is Bogart's terrible Irish dialect.

Next to Now, Voyager one of my favorite Bette Davis movies. And didn't even know Bogie was in it til I saw it..so that was a nice surprise. Great story, great acting. Loved it.

Naught but a torrid melodrama, but oh! what a humdinger of a melodrama it is! It's films like this that give trash a good name. Full Review
A classic women's pic that strings together a collection of syrupy clichés that can make a real man double up in pain. Full Review
It's horribly dated, playing today like some weird, contrived burlesque of common sense. Full Review
One of Bette Davis' best acted, most enjoyable melodrama, in which she gloriously plays a dying blind woman. Full Review
Even by the standards of a typical Bette Davis melodrama Dark Victory is an embarrassment of riches. Full Review
