The critics may have hated it but I for one loved this film. An exceptionally well acted and thought of dramatic story with tangible emotive performances and a very well thought out script. Although there were a few "Hollywood touches" that bypassed alot of the judicial practices... read more

Seriously this was a good movie. I liked the dating part most. It was funny. And also loved the part where a father can do anything for his children. The little one was cute. Liked her attitude. The story is very touchy. It will bring you to tears and make you angry at the same t... read more

An inspiring well thought out film. To bad that's all it has going for it. Tyler Perry should stick to comedies, as if that still does him good. There was no real plot build-up to this one. Everything was also fasted pasted, which is not good for a movie that has a sub genre of d... read more

An exceptionally good movie about a father that put the care and concerns of his daughters first. A deeply moving and gripping tale that is a must see. Tyler Perry has struck gold again. The end left me wanting for more. Please see it.

This was a good story, a little drug out in places and the mother and her boyfriend were bad in a cartoonish sort of way. But all in all it was a good story about a dad wanting to take care of his kids and how communities can change injustices if they are willing to stand up toge... read more

This movie was very entertaining. A way of a father protecting what he loves the most, with the help of a beautiful lawyer. Very good movie.

Union makes Perry's pap palatable. The least choppy of his urban melodramas.

It makes you happy to receive the Word of Perry. Full Review
Subtlety has never been Perry's strength, but his previous films balanced the sermonizing with good humor and sincerity. Perhaps next time, he'll ease up on the lectures, and bring back the love. Full Review
The lead actors make Perry's didacticism easier to take. Full Review
The hamfistedness of Daddy's Little Girls ultimately shatters its charms.
Given his built-in appeal, Perry has the opportunity to broaden the subject matter of so-called black movies. He takes a stab at it in Girls, but he could do so much better. Full Review
This particular Tyler Perry movie offers some glimpses of the graceful comic talent its one-man entertainment empire can be if he turns down the volume more often. Full Review
In terms of direction, this is the sharpest film Perry has made. It moves at a deft pace, and the comedic sequences continually score. He also knows how to create a mood. Full Review
In Daddy's Little Girls, Tyler Perry merits an A for the messages he wants to deliver but only a C-plus for the way he delivers them.
