A Short 38 Minute Film, from 1952, in Black & White in French with English Subtitles, Its a great picture for horse lovers.

A quietly logical film,the tale has certainly scattered elements from Exupery's philosophy and a childish mood such is in C.S. Lewis' Narnia books (check out the Horse and his Boy book),a balanced moral in the finale but a complete nectar.

A poetic story of boy who tames a wild horse and ranchers who want to capture it, impressively shot in the marshlands near the ocean. One of the most beautiful films I've seen.

(Comments on "White Mane") I do love watching wild horses but this kinda gets on the boring side. It was also narrated in English? The kid also had a nice "emo" hairdo. Pretty stylish for a young fisher.
