Loved the first, and loved this one too. Not sure which I like better, considering I saw the original over a decade ago. I believe through the years, this one will be more memorable to me though, with the blob-like water creature and the hilarious sequences of "Thanks for the rid... read more

A really poor collection of 3 short horror stories. All looking very outdated and silly, the acting is terrible apart from George Kennedy in the first story. The 2nd and 3rd stories barely have a plot to mention. The animation inbetween is rather poor as well, should have stuck w... read more

Stephen King and Romero are back for more tales of terror hosted by 'The Creep', again the film is bookended by a short story that starts off as live action but then transforms into that eerie cartoon style that looks so good in the Creepshow films.
The stories again are a mixed... read more -

The segment with the lake partying teens is a favorite of mine. I watched it as a child and it left an impression. As an adult Ive re-watched it and found it wonderfully campy.

I had heard terrible things about this film and that it didn't hold a candle to the original. Many people said the film was lame and not worth watching. I enjoyed the first Creepshow film, and it by far one of the best horror anthology films in the genre. But after reading review... read more

Although it's not as good as the first, it's still a very good anthology horror movie, and I really liked it. If you loved the first one, you should see this one too. The stories are very interesting and scary, and the cast is interesting too. I highly recommend it.

"The Raft" is by far the best of the three 'tales of terror' here. I've never been a big fan of sequels, but it's easier to swallow with episodic horror films where each story stands (or falls) on its own merit.

While it doesn't quite have the magic of the original, it is a very interesting collection of stories. "The Hitchhiker" and "The Raft" were the strongest, while "The Chief " felt like a filler. It has great campy acting in it, which makes it all the more fun. It's not Romero, but... read more

Not a great follow up to the first film but it?s not without its fair share of gore, scare and comedy! The cartoon segments are a little poor though and the acting is awful but it?s an 80's horror film so that?s to be expected really. I?ve seen a lot worse!
Critic Reviews
Tied together with some humdrum animated sequences, three vignettes on offer obviously were produced on the absolute cheap, and are deficient in imagination and scare quotient. Full Review
The episodes are marginally interesting, but each is a little too long. And each could be fully explained in a one-sentence synopsis. Full Review
Part of the problem is that King's short stories simply work better in print. Full Review
The film does at least have a rich visual palette and some well drawn (if distinctly unfunny) animated sequences that play in between each segment. These factors are small compensation for everything ... Full Review
Whereas Romero's approach to this material is distinctly tongue-in-cheek, Gornick makes the mistake of giving the stories a straightforward treatment that merely heightens their inherent weakness. Full Review
A satisfying follow-up that retains the same macabre yet spirited tone. Full Review
Just as you can't judge a '50s comic book by its lurid cover, so you can't judge a cheapo, three-part film by its sources. Full Review
It's filled out with a shoddy, animated wraparound sequence and it's all dropped in the hands of an inexperienced director, Michael Cornick. Full Review
If you already know and love Creepshow, the sequel's something you'll probably enjoy...in a Jaws 2 or Halloween 2 kind of way. Full Review
