Couples Retreat is a poorly crafted comedy. This film is so poorly made, and it's so irritating that you don't even care what happens, you lose interest halfway through. Vince Vaughn is terrible and so is Jon Favreau. I couldn't find one thing I liked about the film, and I though... read more

I really loved this movie. It was hilarious the activities that these couples had to go through. Like Dave getting bit by that shark & the yoga that they did. I was laughing every second of this movie. In the end they all realized that they never fell out of love with each othe... read more

Good for a couple laughs. The rest of the time it tries to look for laughs and only manages to bring awkward moments.

When I first look at the poster of this movie and saw how great the cast of this movie, I put this movie as my must-watched comedy movie... Having Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Jon Favreau, Malin Akerman, Kristen Bell, Kristin Davis, and Jean Reno in a single movie is really great... read more

There are also scenes, the disjointed kind that wander off aimlessly in the vague hope of finding a movie, not to mention a laugh. Full Review
Couples Retreat is a comedy of exhaustion. But it is the comedy itself, in both concept and execution, that seems tired. Full Review
You know those comedies that hit a little dry spell and have a hard time recovering? Couples Retreat has one that lasts about, oh, 90 minutes.
This deeply unfunny film is further proof that movie comedy these days -- in its acting, writing, directing -- is far below the average sitcom. Full Review
Couples Retreat has an eye, and ear, for the way relationships fall apart terribly slowly and then all at once. What it lacks is a truly concentrated comedy punch, preferring instead to land a series ... Full Review
Like most of Universal's offerings this year, you have to wonder exactly who (besides masochists) they thought would actually want to see Couples Retreat in a theater. Full Review
Couples Retreat is neither funny nor honest. The exact opposite of a retreat, it's merely exhausting. Full Review
