Why did Jim Carrey and Alan Thicke go on a ski vacation together and then film it for TV? This movie doesn't answer that question, it only makes you ask that when you see it. This movie isn't worth anyone's time.

Jim Carrey's first is his worst! I think it was mainly the fault of the director and writer probably. This movie has three things going on at once, none of which the audience particularly cares about because there's pretty much no story. There's some ski race involving Alan Th... read moreicke, who thinks he can beat the old champ just because he's out of shape. There's some bands singing at the resort. And then there's Carrey doing funny impressions of famous people to impress some chicks. That's all that's going on in this one hour movie. I got bored with it and didn't watch the end, but at least Carrey is slightly funny.

Neither Jim Carrey or Alan Thicke were ever supporting actors in this what the hell was it even about?

My former neighbor, Parker Thomas, bought this one at Walmart for $5.. I guess you get what you pay for.
Disguised as a romantic comedy, 'Copper Mountain' is basically a commercial for club med's Summer Country nights (where country bands come and play and people who are staying ... read moreat the resort get free tickets).. Carrey does a couple of impressions (the best being a Sammy Davis Jr. one).. but this film is really before Carrey was able to hone his comedic skills. Teaming him up with the uproariously unfunny Alan Thicke (of Growing Pains fame) didn't help either. I wanna know who thought that naming a character "Yogi Hebadaddy" was a good idea?? That is seriously the name of the "bad guy" throughout the "film"....
    NEVER RENT THIS!!

An ADD joyride. Essentially a commercial for Club Med intertwined into a concert film with a subplot involving Jim Carrey trying to relate to women with second-rate impersonations.
