Coneheads is mildly amusing here and there, unfortunately the script suffers from a good, engaging plot; therefore the film ends up being a mediocre comedy with unsatisfying results. Coneheads has a few laughs here and there, but for the most part, the result is uneven comedy tha... read more

True to the sketches, but wild in it's interpretation of the Hoem Planet. Chris Farley is dopey as ever, and just as cute.

Another 90's gem that I always liked more than anyone else I know did. I don't care what the critics, friends, family, or anyone else says, this movie's funny and I wouldn't mind owning it!

Critic Reviews
A sweet, funny anarchic pastiche that should find broad based popularity. Full Review
Coneheads falls flat about as often as it turns funny, and displays more amiability than style. Full Review
A respectably funny -- but small -- effort, a reunion party best watched in your living room, while you consume mass quantities of pizza with extra molten lactate extract of hooved mammals. Full Review
This is a dismal, dreary and fairly desperate movie, in which the actors try very hard but are unable to overcome an uninspired screenplay. Full Review
I expected stupid humor, silly humor, or bizarre humor, but not no humor. Full Review
Curtin and Aykroyd rely on old standbys... When that doesn't work, which mostly it doesn't, they try grossing us out with a series of revolting Remulakian childbirth jokes. Full Review
Whether on Earth or in space, the jokes are either flat or hopelessly crude. Full Review
Its transition to the big screen suggests an idea that was plotted on the back of a beer mat when the creators were too pickled to stand up straight. One wishes they had passed out before they were so... Full Review
