Whatever happened to Alicia Silverstone? She was a pretty prominent actress in the 90's, but then suddenly vanished into thin air. Or maybe it's because I never watched any of the live-action Scooby Doo movies. Anyhow, this is a magically entertaining high school flick with a tim... read more

With a brash and trendy script and flippant performances by the stars one finds oneself not entirely repulsed by this insubstantial walk on the ultra rich side of California teen wish fulfillment. As if.

How many times have I seen Clueless? A zillion, at LEAST. How many more times do I want to see Clueless? A zillion more! I think it is girl law to unconditionally love this movie. It's because Paul Rudd is so cute we can't stand it. Not to mention that Alicia Silverstone is a H-o... read more

This movie is sort of like a new version of Valley Girl, it's very 90s, and it's charming and funny and enjoyable. I wasn't expecting to like it that much, but it was actually good.

Good work from Alicia Silverstone, Brittany Murphy and Breckin Meyer, as well as a few clever one-liners scattered here and there are not enough to consider a film a "classic". Incredibly dated and as shallow as the lead character, Clueless is a miss more than it is a hit.

Clueless is about four high girls that live in a girl's world. Cher has to learn the hard way that the world is not fair all the time and you cannot talk your way out of bad times. The acting was Ok and the plot was Ok. Over time the film got annoying but the music was really ... read more

I love this movie. I've seen it 30+ times since I was a kid. Every time I see it, I appreciate it more and more. It's not a guilty pleasure... It's just a great film.

The summer's most compelling movie about teenagers. Full Review
A fresh, disarmingly bright and at times explosively funny comedy well worth a trip to the mall, even if it eventually runs out of gas. Full Review
Though this drifts at times as storytelling, it's mainly lightweight but personable fun. Full Review
While Miss Silverstone guides Cher through the witty costume changes that serve as character development, she's backed up by a solid supporting cast. Full Review
By the time you skip out of the theater, you've had a great time but can't remember a single reason why. Full Review
Silverstone is a winner. And so is the movie, which also functions as a lunatic update of Emma, the 1816 Jane Austen novel.
While Cher and the other characters here may seem vacuous and spoiled, Heckerling -- who wrote the script as well -- is a gentle satirist. Full Review
Silverstone guilelessly glides through her role like a Pam-sprayed charge card.
The movie is aimed at teenagers, but like all good comedies, it will appeal to anyone who has a sense of humor and an ear for the ironic. Full Review
