A brilliant movie, you'll be astounded that there were only two actors in the entire film. Rickman's best performance ever! I loved this movie. The story is a bit far fetched, but it's sorta surreal too. I highly recommend this movie.

Sadistic!Rickman porn brought to you by Amnesty International!
Really brilliant, but by no means a fun or a light film to watch because of some of the scenes (not because of what it shown, but what it left unshown) and the underlying message. -

Some interesting mind games between Rickman and Stowe with some actual interrogation/torture techniques make this intriguing.

I enjoyed every minute of this, even though Rickman is a very bad man. (Maybe that is why I liked this film). It is definitely not for the normal people out there. Very twisted.

Disturbing....but Alan Rickman had an amazing sensual role, even though he did play a very bad guy. Props to Madeleine Stowe as well, excellent acting! I love thescene where Alan's character was eating the tomato lol, so hot

A very strange movie staring Alan Rickman and Madeleine Stowe. Both of which work well together. I love this film, but many others hated it. It is very warped, and not for those who dont like a sick twisted ending.

Stowe and Rickman. That's it. Two actors face off and have at it. There is no reason why everyone hasn't seen this film... ok, that's not fair, as it was a stumble across for me. The proceeds from this film went to Amnesty International. Cost to make must have been minimal, price... read more

It's hard to imagine that a film set in one room, with only two actors colud be this good. This is a powerful film, about what some goverments will do to control their people. A children's author (Stowe) is kidnapped from hed bed in the middle of the night. The interviewer is ... read more
Critic Reviews
Strong performances by Rickman and Stowe, yet the film (about torture) fails to engage on a visceral level
Rickman and Stowe add a lot to this fascinating little mind-bender.
