On the surface, Michael Newman (Adam Sandler) seems to have it all, yet with all the demands forced upon him by his ungrateful boss (David Hasselhoff), Michael finds that setting aside time to spend with his loving wife, Donna (Kate Beckinsale), and two picture-perfect children, Ben (Joseph Castanon) and Samantha (Tatum McCann), has grown increasingly difficult. When a frustrating bout with the television remote leads the overworked husband and father to a nearby Bed, Bath & Beyond in search of a universal remote with the power to control all of his electronic devices, a curious peek into the back room leads Michael into the company of eccentric employee and talented inventor Morty (Christopher Walken). It seems that Morty has created a device that will not only allow Michael complete control over his television and stereo, but his entire life as well. As Michael discovers that the remarkable device has the power to muffle the barks of the family dog, zoom himself past an irritating quarrel with his wife, and even allow him to travel back and forth through time to different points in his life, the rush of being able to skip straight to the good parts in life soon leaves him feeling as if he's missing out on the total experience. Only when Michael begins to realize that the he has lost control of his life and the remote is now programming him does he finally learn that life is as much about the moments he'd rather forget as it is the moments he will always remember. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Click is so stupid, even for an Adam Sandler film. The idea may not be that original but it has huge potential in the right hands. Just when it gets close to actually being though-provoking/heartwarming/interesting, the dog humps the cuddly duck and we all laugh. Well, I didn't laugh, is was too busy cursing the TV and scratching my head. What a mess. One and a half stars for the awesome Henry Winkler and for punching David Hasselhoff in the face.

It's climax became one of my fondest moments of one Adam Sandler, it's often bright comedy enlightened, a rare moment for Adam.

Click is a Drama comedy film starring Adam Sandler. The film is awful; I felt that the idea was a good one, if it had a different lead. Personally, I find that Adam Sandler should have retired ages ago. The guy can't hold a film together, unless it's Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy and ... read moreThe Wedding Singer. Those are his best, and the rest are crap. Adam Sandler is definitely not an actor, much less a competent comedian. He's a few decent comedies, but now he's simply terrible. I hate his guts, I can't stand him. What's stunning about this film is that Christopher Walken agreed to star in it. I can't believe that he played in this piece of crap. He's too talented to be in an Adam Sandler film. Click failed to entertain me, I thought that the film was terrible because Sandler brought it down, and most of the cast were wasted because they had to star in opposite him. It's their own fault. The film doesn't really entertain; instead it's slow, overly dramatic and boring. The film tries to blend comedy and drama, but in the end, it just doesn't work. Click is simply a missed opportunity, and it fails at everything it tries to do. If the film had a better lead, and at least a few script rewrites, I think this film would've been better; instead the film is a mess and doesn't do anything that entertains the viewer. The only thing the film does is bore the crap out of the viewer, which in that respect, succeeds on many levels. A tired, lazy film that misses the mark. Avoid it.

a perfect mix of comedy and drama....of laughter and tears....of Sandler and Becks....BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!!! YOU AIN'T SEEN THIS BEFORE!!!

Click starts off as just another Adam Sandler comedy. He's angry, he has sudden outbursts to varying degrees of comedic success, and he's inexplicably involved with a very beautiful lady. After getting tired of his life he comes across Walken, weirding it up as some kind of inven... read moretor. Sandler is given a remote that can control his life. It's all fun and games at first. Using slow motion to stare at breasts, pausing Hasselhoff so Sandler can fart in his face, muting Jennifer Coolidge, and attempting to fast forward through foreplay. Then suddenly he's catapaulted into the future, where he has cancer, his wife has left him, his father is dead and so on. Basically this is a film of two halves, both very different in tone, and it never gels. Like I said, it starts as a Sandler comedy, but towards the end it has delusions of grandeur as it reaches to be on the level of fantastic Capra movies. I liked the issue of not skipping the hard parts of life, as without them not much is left. This is something they really could have explored. Instead they bitched out and went for the viewer friendly "Family is everything" motto. I just hate that. Sandler works hard in this movie, he gives his family everything, and still gets no respect. He is always seen as the villain. Perhaps they should make a movie where he does put family first, only for his wife to still leave him and his kids grow up without any kind of support. They sure weren't complaining when he paid for the wedding. It's a mixed bag, as I was in a silly mood I was laughing a lot at the beginning, but the dramatic elements were overdone. I kind of admire Sandler for reaching out into new territory, but it has to coincide with the previous 50 minutes.

What If You Had A Universal Remote... That Controlled Your Universe?

Saw it again! Great movie! Very good cast. Great message and learning for parents these days. Highly recommended!!!

This movie is garbage and is not very funny the first and second act. So why am I giving this film a 80% out of 100%? Because the 3rd act of the whole film is the biggest moment in a film where I've cried, and for an Adam Sandler film, I really wasn't expecting that. I genuinely ... read moredon't cry more than once in a film that often, but this film I cried 3 times in the last 22 minutes. Now the acting is less than perfect (Except for the Fonz,) and about 85% of the jokes in this film aren't funny but the scenes where he pauses reality and hits someone and messes with them, I die of laughter. Though the film does borrow very heavily from "It's a Wonderful Life" at the end it doesn't distract you at all when watching the film, and seeing how this film rips off the whole plot of "It's a Wonderful Life," one of my top 10 favorite movies, and my favorite christmas movie ever, it is actually very well pulled off, and to me this is the mature and futuristic version of that film. Its not nearly as good as it but it is good in its own right, and considering I hate Sandler, that is saying a lot.

Adam Sandler is funny.....that's a given. But a movie about controlling life with a remote? No thanks.

You know, sometimes great comedians have bad movies. Jack Black had "School of Rock". Rob Schneider had "Judge Dredd" and "The Hot Chick". Sandler has tons, but this has got to be the down right worst (Though I haven't seen Grown Ups yet)

First of all, the plot just seems to b... read moree a complete ripoff of "It's a Wonderful Life" and "Back to the Future", only without the heart or laughs. Yes the ending was kind of cute and happy, but about 2/3 of the movie is just so...pointless.

The humor has got to be some of the worst I've ever seen. Sandler goes to all new lows such as fart jokes, fat jokes, mexican jokes and voice changing. That's right, Sandler has resorted to voice changing to get a laugh. Down right pathetic.

I really hated the script. I mean I REALLY hated the script. Every line made me question if maybe it was written by Jim Carrey or some other incredibly unfunny comedian.

What's worse is, that only 3 really good Sandler comedies came after "Click". "Grandma's Boy", "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" and "Funny People". What did we get "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" "Just Go With It", "Bedtime Stories" and worst of all "Grown Ups".

Loved this movie! Another fantastic film from Adam Sandler, he never fails to make me laugh. Although, with this film it had a lot more meaning and was much more deep. I liked that and it tore a little at the heartstrings. Very well written and the acting in this was fantastic. T... read moreoo many scenes too mention that were completely hysterical. A definite must see!
