A pretty good thriller. Nothing spectacular, but this film is very entertaining. The plot is simple, but very affective. It does take a few more "convenient" twists than I would have liked, but if you take this film for what it is, it's a fun ride.

I think this is actually a very entertaining movie and overlooked in many ways. It has a really great pace and the characters are interesting and fun to watch. It's not all that extensive of a plot, but It's not a movie that was designed to be. You know the plot and what it's goi... read more

Cellular is as corny as an Action movie can be and as a result is highly predictable, whilst I'm sure it's going to be a highly forgettable film, it did at least hold some kind of entertainment value to make it watchable.
Not one to watch for Jason Statham fans as this was far... read more -

Cellular is an interesting average Thriller film. The cast is decent at best and the story is not too bad either. I'm usually not a fan of Kim Basinger, but in this film shes pretty good. Jason Statham gives a good performance here, and usually I find him pretty hit and miss. The... read more

Cellular could have been a decent thriller but David R. Ellis spent next to no time on character development or story and went a bit over the top. Take the clever simplicity of Phone Booth, replace it with stupid dialogue, unlikely turn of events and mind-numbing action sequences... read more

Never looses excitement and has a decent cast, but there are some illogical things that bothered me, just not enough from still enjoying this quite a bit.

A first-rate, fast-paced, adreniline-pumping thriller. It packs on plenty of smarts and thrills. Gripping and intelligent edge of your seat fun. Lot's of action and suspense. Excitment in awsome dosages. It never lets up, this is to much of an enjoyable ride that you dont wanna m... read more

Buoyant, pleasantly pulpy, invigorating doodle. Full Review
The picture has a low-stakes, cop-show vitality to it; it doesn't pretend to be more than the sum of its parts. Full Review
Its adroit use of suspense makes you overlook the silliness. Full Review
I enjoyed every one of its 89 minutes. Full Review
An absurdly concocted car chase and rescue operation predicated on the marvels of modern telecommunications. Full Review
As the brand of thriller where ordinary people are in peril and forced to take extraordinary risks, Cellular is distressingly predictable and not a tad scary. But as a parody of the genre, it's a scream. Full Review
Ellis manages a few sudden shocks, but he and the editors never discovered the secret of ratcheting up suspense. Full Review
The story moves briskly, the action is pulse-charging, and the laughs are many. Full Review
Highly improbable, maniacally action-packed.
