Lovato's terrible acting has not improved at all since the last movie. None of these songs are actually good, either. If you want to hear them, watch a commercial on the Disney Channel, since they, of course, only advertise for themselves.

Camp Rock tried to give "High School Musical" a run for its money when it first came out in our opinion. Unfortunately, the film was pretty original and entertaining. However, the sequel is trying to give "High School Musical", "You Got Served", and "Step Up" all a run for their ... read moremoney. The film's plot sufffers deeply from unoriginality. Despite toe-tapping tunes and okay acting, the film is spurting out cliches as it progresses. The plot concerns of the Camp Rockers competing against Camp Star in a musical competition in which only one camp will survive. We've all seen this before!

The characters need some serious help too. What in the living heck was up with Axel Turner not making his hideous daughter the star of all Camp Star's acts? Why was Nick creepily stalking Axel Turner's daughter? Why does Tess turn to "the dark side"? By that I mean joining Camp Star. Mitchie was plain stupid and being all self-centered. She only cared for herself and "saving" the camp from closure.

The music was not as good as the first but still okay. What really killed us is how they the characters burst in song. Remember how in the first film, the characters would plan the song in advance and then sing in front of the mic? In this one, they don't and burst into song like Broadway actors. That annoyed us!

Overral, Camp Rock 2 is one of the worst sequels ever made and deserves hatred.

Can you believe I was actually excited about this? I stayed in on a Friday night to catch the premiere on Disney Channel. It's not like I had anything else to do, but seriously. The sequel is a contrived camp rivalry with larger-than-life baddies. The songs are not as catchy ... read moreas the original's. One of the lyrics is actually "la la la la la la la la." Demi Lovato dances weirdly. She hits everything too hard.

Why I even watched this I will never know...

Was I really that bored? Also: Whoever in this world think that the Jonas Brothers tare actual rock-stars are such a joke.

Badly acted, badly written. The music and dacing isn't even worthy.

I should've expected all this from a TV... read more movie though...a TV Disney Channel children's movie.

Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam represents one of those film series that are just good to begin with, and stay the exact same throughout. Adding new characters and a slight upgrade in story, it's script falls apart which levels out the two films. Camp Rock is not by any means a great ... read moreseries, but they are fun to watch a few times. Despite the way the songs are presented, the music is not half bad, taking into account the type of music that it is. The backstory has a good lesson, but so does ever disney movie, so that wasn't new. I like Camp Rock, and I like the second just as much.

These kids are really talented, although I enjoyed the story, and first Camp Rock more, CR-2 is worth seeing.

I'm so in love with this movie! I thought it was a great contining story line. I liked the dueling camps and all the new songs that got stuck in my head. My favorite scene would have to be when Nate sung Introducing Me!

I know that this is a direct-to-TV movie, but seriously? This movie has absolutely no plot, and whatever plot it does have is a mix of Meatballs-Rear Window-And every Disney show of the last 3 years. You may be thinking: "Meatballs and the Disney show stuff make sense, but Rear W... read moreindow? Huh?". Yes, part of Rear Window is actually in this film, and its name is Nick Jonas. The only thing he (or whatever his character's name is) does throughout the movie is stalk a random person on the other side of the camp. NOTE TO DISNEY: THIS IS NOT SWEET, THIS IS CREEPY! Another problem I have with this movie is how much screen time Demi Lavato (or whatever her character's name is) hogs. She's a terrible singer and other aspiring singers should have a chance. I know that I have no chance in convincing you not to see it if you like Disney or that stuff, but if you don't, please continue to stay away from it.
