The result is not only a very personal rehashing of the events in 2000 from a multitude of opinions (scholars, scientists, politicians, and everyday citizens were all approached by Kohn), but a poignant reminder that election reform may be needed to preserve voting rights in an era of butterfly ballots and computerized voting machines.
