She goes to work for an old school friend, Liza (Carrie Ng), who has since become a bisexual madam and shows Carman the ropes while luring her into her bed. The episodic story line also interweaves the experiences of other prostitutes and their clients, and is bolstered by a well-known cast including Veronica Yip, Cecilia Yip, and Elaine Wu.
