I feel guilty rating this a three in case anyone actually thinks it's good and rents it out on my recommendation! However, it did manage to hold my attention, maybe due to the horror of Mena Suvari and an "uglifed" Katherine Heigl, doing really bad English accents. Why they didn... read more

funny brit comedy about the happenings of a busy understaffed cafe. Adequate though a bit contrived. I liked the fiance/fiancee/alibi customers best :)

Caffeine is sort of a cross between Friends and Waiting, only not as gratifying.
The story is the day in the life, so to speak, of the patrons and staff of The Black Cat Cafe.

Really good movie. Really interesting and funny. So many things happening at once. This movie was really fun to watch. Great movie. Great seeing Katherine Heigl and Mike Vogel.

Critic Reviews
The claustrophobic and poorly executed Caffeine is either a play in search of a movie or a movie in search of a play but, either way, it's searching for the wrong thing.
A witless examination of relationships and day jobs, Cosgrove's would-be comedy finds little humor in issues of infidelity, heartbreak (and bodily functions), resulting in a film that's hopelessly ama... Full Review
Overall, those are 88 minutes I desperately wish I could get back. Full Review
It's the movie equivalent of lukewarm coffee and day-old cake. Full Review
A largely unfunny, predictable, and tired crisscross of any number of lowbrow sitcom plots.
While I realize that the sophomoric angst served up here is some people's cup of java, it's artificially sweetened enough to drive me to herbal tea. Full Review
