I remember watching this on HBO when I was a kid. Can't remember exactly what it was about except that Jon Silverman hooked up with someones wife...HEY I was 13 so that was all I was thinking about anyway.

This is the childhood of the 'Biloxi Blues'character Eugene Morris Jerome (who was always writing in his diary). This movie was ok but I preferred 'Biloxi Blues' better.

A very funny movie. After watching it, I felt I had just seen the adolescent, less innocent version, of that holiday movie classic "A Christmas Story."
