Awe come on everyone! This was cute. How can anything with Freddie in it be bad? Cute romantic comedy. Jason Biggs was pretty funny in this, which really added to it. Maybe not their best work, but I enjoyed it.

This has got to be one of the most cheesy movies from the 00s. You have the ultimate teen nerd and the ultimate teen leading man thrown together with the roles reversed. A blue haired Jason Biggs is not necessarily something I asked to see, but it was a pleasant surprise none the... read more

Not a bad comedy-romantic with Freddie Prinze Jr. and Claire Forlani as college students whose blossoming friendship nurses them through a series of romantic disappointments. Will they ever see that they're made for each other? Three guesses. The overfamiliar script is redeemed b... read more

As romance movies go this one wasn't too bad. It showed the maturing process of the characters before it was believable that they would get together. Not like in most of these films where it is obvious they will get together because the writers think it is a good idea. Like say W... read more

Yikes. Poor Claire Forlani. How did she ever deliver those speeches about "love" so earnestly? *I saw this in theaters as a middle school kid and probably thought it was romantic and edgy and sexy. Yikes again.

Romantic movie that catches the heart. Was a huge fan of Freddie Prinze Jr. at the time when this movie came out. Seems like he dropped off the planet after he got married. Wish he was around more.

I love this movie, it's probably my favorite Freddy Prinze Jr. movie, probably even better than "she's all that."

It was a good movie, but more lovely, dovey from me. Its something for girly girls to watch. Borrow it from a friend or watch it on tv like I did. LOL.

Misery loves company. I became addicted to this quirky, somewhat surreal romantic comedy when a long term relationship of mine ended. To watch Freddie Pri... read more

This is less a movie than a casting call -- just round up a crowd of pretty young faces, fresh yet still familiar, and call it a job well done. Full Review
Compared to the wisdom and wickedness of High Fidelity, [Boys and Girls] is such a slight movie. Full Review
[Claire Forlani] is way too classy for this sort of film.
The year's worst movie.
Approaches such niceties as construction and character motivation with a decidedly wanton shrug. Full Review
Boys and Girls breezes through overly-familiar territory. Full Review
The best thing that can be said about Boys and Girls is that it is studiously inoffensive. Full Review
One moment it is clever and fresh, and the next it becomes stupid.
The larger motions [Boys and Girls] goes through are oh-so-tiresomely familiar.
