If you're looking for one of the worst horror films ever made, then Bones may be the one you're looking for. Starring Snoop Dogg in the title role, Bones is an uneven mess and quite simply a bad film. This is a poorly made horror film that has too many clichéd moments from other,... read more

For a haunted house movie starring Snoop Dogg...I gotta say, it's not that bad. It does a good job of setting things up and looks pretty good, but just has nothing real special to offer.

It does have extremely creepy & disturbing moments & visuals, & has some interesting characters, but the film is just slow, & then towards the ending it gets predictable.
Snoop Dogg is not a bad actor, & he plays his role just fine, but even he & the other cast members can't s... read more -

What this movie could have been i give it 5 stars... but it is what it is. Unfortunately it used a lot from 70's blaxploitation/horror but it came off as some neo-horror shit that was obviously made in 2001. Some good parts make it just entertaining enough to check out

Snoopy Dogg as a hustler from the dead...too cool! The maggot scene was nasty! Pam Grier did a good job switching from modern times to the 70s.
Critic Reviews
A mangy and ungainly movie, a cluttered and uncreepy assembly of stale clichés, telegraphed scares and low-rent effects. Full Review
A grotesquely uneven schlockfest with large doses of bad writing and bad acting amid the delicious moments. Full Review
Splits the difference between horror and social commentary, with pallid returns. Full Review
Made with sufficient skill to produce a few shivers. Just as important, it contains enough self-mocking humor to earn a few laughs. Full Review
No one here escapes offensive, negative stereotyping. Full Review
Too much of Bones feels transplanted from genre staples like Hellraiser.
To point out little flaws in this one would be like looking at a demolished car and complaining that the taillight doesn't work. Full Review
If grossness gives you the giggles, at least a couple of the movie's effects indeed put a little 'wow' in this cinematic bowwow. Full Review
Only Pam Grier, the veteran of the last golden age of Blacksploitation cinema, acquits herself admirably here.
