Another boring women behind bars movie, so boring and predictable, I didn't watch the whole thing.

Woman prisoners + Pam Grier + Sid Haig + The 70's + Guns and loads of bad guys = Exploitation Heaven!
  • March 4, 2008
How many elements of 70s exploitation can you fit in one film?
I'm sure this film comes close to the maximum as it includes: Women in prison, shout-outs, bare breasts, shower scenes, lesbian guards, violent revolutionaries, gansters running prostitution rings, incredibly red blo... read moreod, blaxploitation (Pam Grier), a funky-ass soundtrack, distribution by American International, icon John Ashley's involvment, stabbing, strangling, attemted rape, shot abroad for tax cuts and cheap labor, and not last (but the last I'll mention) and definetly not least SID HAIG!

No, the women-in-prison films generally didn't have sequels, they just recycled the same actors and plots under different names.

A thoroughly sleazy and enjoyable sexploitation flick.

It's a glorious sight to see, all the bad clothing, the 'rebels' who spend half the film waiting around for the blonde white girl, it's pretty amusing.

    Definitely recommended.

Pretty killer Blaxploitation flick. I own a copy. and I suggest you get one too. Just a suggestion though, it isn't for everyone.

You can never go wrong with classic Pam Grier, especially when she is alongside a feisty white woman who is pushing her buttons.
