This movie is very funny at first, but the story is very familiar and the jokes wear thin in the middle of the movie. Of course it does have a good cast, and they're good in the movie. There are some good parts, but overall it's not a great movie.

A very stale comedy from the brits. It was later remade but even that one wasn't very good.

Peter Cook and Dudley Moore's attempt at a feature long film. The movie was an over-stretched sketch and over-done. Not too bad movie, but not good movie either.

I have a real soft spot for the remake, - though Peter Cook is an infinitely better Satan than Hurley. This version suffers from a low budget but has a brilliant script. Worth watching both.

Incredibly funny film with the brilliant Peter Cook and Dudley Moore. Don't bother with the terrible remake, stick to the original.

This is a great original comedy that blows away the remake. Cook and Moore are a fabulous pair. May seem dated but is still good.

Very dated, bit bleak, but I cant get enuff of this flick. It reminds me so much of WITHNAIL & I. Classic Brit comedy at its best. I miss Pete & Dud.

Painfully funny.
Simply magic......a comedy that will cast a spell on you from start to end Full Review
...the film suffers from too many 70s era flourishes...and extreme overlength. Full Review
As close as narrative film would ever come to reproducing the Cook and Moore of such stage shows as Beyond the Fringe and Good Evening. Full Review
