Once numbering in the tens of thousands, these "Dial-up Bulletin Boards" have mostly disappeared and mostly been forgotten... except by the people who lived, loved and worked on them.

    Jason Scott did a excellent job bringing this documentary to the masses for history to hopefully enjoy (maybe we should petition Discovery to air it in parts. just send the check to Jason).

    It was a part of our lives that now many people take for granted. Back then we were... read more the social outcast... now we are the goto's.

    Remember, with the right connectors, you can always adopt/restore an old computer back to life for it to serve the internet.

    Long live ANSI/ASCII (and others!)
