    staggeringly stupid, cobbled together rip off, of a number of films, transformers, predator etc. No idea how or why they stretched this out to almost 2 hours and I know this is science fiction, but it's science fact a decommissioned battleship couldn't go from museum to combat v... read moreessel in this time and why would it still have ammo or fuel on board.     Better than I thought it would be from the reviews. It isn't shakespeare, but it's a fun flick and a good blow em up movie.

    Watched this expecting to enjoy but with a heap of cheese. Actually turned out to be a great film, the mrs loved it as we'll. good amount of action, good story, nice bit of humour in there and great effects. If you liked district 9 or Battle Los Angeles then this is def for you!

    Awesome movie on so many levels. First of all, it is what it is, an action adventure movie. That being said, I liked it on so many levels, such as...work hard and keep trying and you will achieve your goal, plus it's been a long time since I saw a movie that made me stand up and ... read morecheer by making me feel Patriotic, not only for America, but for the human race in General! The acting was superb, the emotional high's and low's were right on target, and 3 cheers for writing in the involvment of the WWII vetrans into the film, that was the best part! If your a Liberal, this film is not for you, (such as most of the critics must have been). Nobody sat around debating for 6 months, sucking up taxpayers money, trying to decide what should be done. Instead, the human race fought back, set a goal, worked together, and achieved it! Hooray for this movie! Let's see some more like it I say!!! And the special effects were outstanding!!
