An amazing start to a new story in the Batman Animated universe. The futuristic landscape and bizarre characters blend well with the style of Batman. Terry McGinnis is a great character and certainly worthy to be called Batman.

I like the idea of the passing of the torch and they made an interesting show out of it as well. The character of Terry became it's own after a while and that shows that it was well written if people were willing to let this new guy replace the Batman they had all grown up with.... read more

First 6 episodes of the series - pretty nice intro to a new future of mythos. I was put off on it in the late 90's but learned to really like it recently. The music, though different, really grows on you and helps set he mood.

The new revised Batman 2099 comics inspired this flick, set in a future where Batman is old and has to get a new guy to fill in for him. Not as cool or slick as the Animated Series that proceeded it. Worth a rental.

It's the Future and Bruce Wayne is too old to fight crime so he needs a young fresh Batman.

This is the pilot to the series Batman Beyond. It's Gotham City forty years later and Bruce Wayne is too old to continue as Batman so enter Terry McGuiness. I loved this show. It should have NEVER been cancelled!!!

Very good film, though I liked "Return of the Joker" better. Bruce picked a fairly good kid to take over the mask.
