A sequel as good as the first. The Barbershop movies are instant classics - and the second installment is just as fast and funny as the first - throwing in Queen Latifah with added good measure. ENJOY!

As funny as the first one. A must see... Ice Cube is proving himself as a director. Tackling issues community issues. An interesting ensemble of actors that are not going anywhere...Barbershop 3 in the works yet? LOL!

Not as good as the original, but I still loved it. Plus my girl Queen Latifah got to put Cedric Entertainer in his place! "Wadin' in the water!" LOL

Good sequel to Barbershop. Good cast, very entertaining. Most sequels aren't as close to the spirit of the original, but this one is. fine score, good pacing.

I liked it perhaps a bit better than the original. Same kind of predictable standard plot, but warm and mellow enough to make up for it.

For a sequel, this movie had big shoes to fill. That this movie did...stuck to the same formula that made the first one a hit. A wonderful family movie.
Critic Reviews
This sequel is overstaffed with a cast that's underserved by Don D. Scott's schematic script and Kevin Rodney Sullivan's crude direction. Full Review
Like going out for a bad meal with a group of people you love being with. You're happy to be in their company; you just wish you didn't leave feeling hungry. Full Review
Heartstrings will be tugged and ribs tickled, particularly thanks to Cedric the Entertainer. Full Review
It's a warm, often funny reunion of the sassiest, chattiest characters ever to buzz a brother's head. Full Review
Just as sharply funny and as heartwarming, yet unsentimental, as the first. Full Review

As fragmented and heavy-handed as the first installment was smart, funny and, yes, at times unexpectedly sweet.
Warmhearted and surprisingly ambitious. Full Review
