Pretty good joint, but was it good enough for a sequel and a spinoff? Don't curr just cut my hurr. My barber's Vietnamese so I would have liked to have seen some Asians in the shop. Cedric carried this, great performance by him.

Critic Reviews
Barbershop is a cozy place to hang out for a while, even if you don't need a little off the sides. Full Review
The movie's heart is in the right place, which generates enough warmth to make one root for it. Full Review
A flat-out hilarious ensemble comedy that probably made me laugh out loud more than any other movie this year. Full Review

As a slapstick adventure, Barbershop is unfunny and unoriginal. But as a character-driven drama, Barbershop works well, with its quirky, sweet characters and authentic dialogue. Full Review
A nice way to spend a couple of hours. You'll feel like a longtime customer. Full Review
Amid the new populist comedies that underscore the importance of family tradition and familial community, one would be hard-pressed to find a movie with a bigger, fatter heart than Barbershop. Full Review
