    THE sickest film I've yet to see in my 20+ years of movie watching! I'd heard before hand that this was the most shocking of the notorious August Underground trilogy and boy were they right! This second in the series is pretty much more of the same except it's way more gross and ... read moredisturbing. A couple of new characters are introduced including a female who proves to be just as maniacal and sexually perverted as her male accomplices. The first film had a slightly more realistic feel to it and more believable characterisation, the performances in this one are a bit more OTT. It's still a raw and dirty looking film and it does maintain a bit of realism to it all. The make-up and gore effects were excellent and used to great effect keeping things gruesome without overdoing it. It's a film that's guaranteed to shock with one scene in particular of a dead young girl being raped in a bath tub an example of it's unflinching, taboo-breaking nature. Believe the hype, watch at your own peril.

A vast improvement over the first and far better t... read morehan its followup; perhaps that has something to do with the fact that Fred Vogel is no longer charged with directing. This is extreme for snuff even, with the most intense scene involving a severed penis rape. Perfect balance between camera quality and effects quality (effects are extremely high quality and better than most professional productions). The visual quality is compromised on purpose to capture the handheld/found footage aesthetic and of all three movies this strikes the best balance between overplanninng and underplanning in terms of shot composition and how much jerky hand tremble shooting is allowed. A great extreme movie, and the only entry in the August Underground series worthy of notice.

    It seemed to me that 3/4 of the movie was people 'vomiting' on each other, which was kind of lame. The people in the movie were extremely gross and ugly and they were probably the most disgusting thing about the movie. Pretty much the only scene I liked was when the dude, uh.. I can't remember his name now, the brother guy, was like, raping the dead kid in the bath. Coz that was kind of cool.

    Okay now after watching the first August Underground movie you know what to expect from the second one right? Wrong, this movie completely tops its predecessor utterly and completely to the point where I dont even want to waste brain cells trying to talk it up (or down). It is do... read morene on the same grainy and hard to deal with jerky camera style filming. It is hard to watch and is without a doubt one of the most disgusting, vile, disturbing, and truly scary movies ever made. All the rules that I told you about the first one apply double here. Look at it as an incredibly sick piece of fiction and you will do fine. Suspend any disbelief and you may find yourself pulling a Charlie Sheen (turning the movie into the MPAA and then the Police).
    This synopsis will be a brief explanation or maybe more like a laundry list of just some of the grossness that went into this. Two girls are forced to eat puke then are brutally murdered, a man is castrated and then his castrated penis is used to rape his girlfriend who is then mercilessly slaughtered. As I was watching this I couldnt believe that this movie existed or was in any way necessary. Uh anyways let me continue with the 'synopsis'. Plus add a tad of Necrophilia and then add in some dude having sex with (ie. inserting his penis into) a gaping flesh wound that he cut into someone, and later on in the film eats he a maggot covered highly decomposed headless baby body (Yes you read that right). And on and on and on, the movie eventually ends with the most fucked up character cutting his own throat open (thank god). You as the viewer want to kill yourself for watching such a depraved piece of work but the best you can do is take a long shower and forget you ever even watched this piece of celluloid toilet paper.

    i watched this online for free and i stopped it a million times. sickest thing ever made. i gave it two stars for the effects (which deserve 5). these people are going to Hell. Don't watch this ever.

    The point of these pseudo-snuff films was to pretend to create something vile and disgustingly exploitative. Mordum includes a scene where people actually do things to each other (Not gonna spoil it); it's not illegal but holy fuck that was some extreme stuff. It's one of the few... read more films to actually disturb me, and because of that I'm forced to give it no less than 3 stars because it succeeded in doing what it set out to do.

    The shaky handycam is still here, making you all upset in your stomach. Some inventive ideas, but I liked the first one more.

    don't watch this i tried and couldn't make it more than a few minutes in. it is the sickest thing i've ever seen in my life. it doesn't even deserve the half a star i gave it. it's complete trash.

    Mordum was just a piece of shit. It was filmed in the style of Blair Witch. It w... read moreas half porn and half horror. The effects were so cheesy that it should just be considered a bloody porno. One guy gets beat to death with a hammer. They pan the camera away as they start to swing the hammer and pan back to the guy on the floor. Lame.

    It used a bunch of live maggots, shit smeared on the walls, and a little bit of blood (by horror standards). It has tons of nudity and sex. Too bad none of the actors or actresses are very attractive. I was hardly arroused and I am a lecher.

    Don't waste the time on this. SVD is still the worst movie in existence.
