I think this movie isn't getting the credit it deserves. It did have a few flaws and didn't have a lot of substance but all in all it was exciting to watch and I think it's an above average and unique heist movie. There was a bit of character development with great direction and ... read more

This starts off as a fairly strong thriller with a good build up, but then spirals out a control and gets a little ridiculous, ultimately adding up to something shakey and a fizzled letdown. It's ALMOST fairly good though. There are some parts that are well done, and you can tell... read more

I very much enjoy watching action movies with good casts and decent scripts. So although there is not much substance, it felt a well balanced film to switch on and switch off to in the evening.

Entertaining enough. However, 10 minutes after the heist had gone wrong there was a continuously building impossible mess to cover up, so I'm not sure what the robbers were planning on doing even if they killed the black guy. There was no way to explain what happened, so they p... read more

Simply put, Nimród Antal's Armored builds up and then falls apart.
Even though this film never reaches 90 minutes, the brief run time isn't short enough to stop the disappointment. The first 30 minutes do a decent enough job at setting up what is to come, while also pro

This movie was not at all what I thought it would be about. I was expecting a heist movie where one guy double-crosses the others, and it's full of twists and everyone is a malavolent criminal genius and whatnot. Nope. This one is a lot more like the thriller Stuck; the blokes in... read more

Despite reliable work from Dillon and Fishburne, Armored is something of a disappointment, thanks to a dull script and a lacklustre leading performance from Short.

"They have a plan that's going to catch EVERYBODY off-guard."
A newbie guard for an armored truck company is coerced by his veteran coworkers to steal a truck containing $42 million. But a wrinkle in their supposedly foolproof plan divides the group, leading to a potentia... read more -

Entertaining little thriller of a heist film about the six security guards in the armored trucks, who should protect the transported money, with a good amount of action and some unpredictable twists.
The key character is the ambiguous Ty (played by Columbus Short), a man that is ... read more

Armored won't win any prizes, but it does offer comforting evidence that there's still room for a well-crafted B movie among CG-laden spectacles. Full Review
This unambitious caper flick takes a while to get moving but gradually develops a modest meat-and-potatoes appeal, compromised in the third act by a whopping and perfectly avoidable plot hole. Full Review
It isn't bulletproof by a long shot, but director Nimrod Antal's grungy gang-of-thieves pic is tough and, for this genre, surprisingly ethical. Full Review
Over-familiar and industrial, a factory film made because a recycled script, minimal budget, a location, a grab-bag cast and some armored trucks were available. Full Review
Alas, Armored is one predictable and forgettable movie that should consider itself very lucky not to have gone straight to DVD. Full Review
An initially intriguing plot line makes a messy getaway in this throwback heist movie.
A so-so heist-gone-awry thriller, light on the thrills, Armored doesn't exactly take its audience captive. Full Review
Like the guards in the film, Armored knows it has a job to do, and established procedures to follow, and that it's just another day at the office. But if a job is worth doing, it's worth doing well ... Full Review
An action flick that gets bogged down with unlikely plot twists. Paul Chambers, CNN. Full Review
