Nick (Ice Cube) and Suzanne (Nia Long) have tied the knot, and now the couple is looking for a suitable home in which to raise their family. What better place to bring up adolescents Lindsey (Aleisha Allen) and Kevin (Philip Daniel Bolden) than a quiet house in the suburbs? Despite their outward excitement at the prospect of moving into their very own home, the family soon discovers that dreams don't come easy as eccentric contractor Chuck Mitchell (John C. McGinley) clashes with the head of the family while forming a frustratingly close bond with his wife and two step-children. As the promising fixer-upper begins to pose a serious threat to the burgeoning family's bank account, Nick gradually begins to realize that the suburban dream doesn't come cheap. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

This is a bit more simplistic then my other lengthy reviews but Are We Done Yet? is actually pretty good. Better than the first.

    Crap on a major scale

Funny, with some re-hashment of the first movie, but the movie was pretty funny

An unnecessary sequel, to an otherwise already average original! Please stop now, before they get worse! But it was just okay! I have an answer to the title! YES!

Part one was better, but its still worth watching with the family ^_^

Good funny with the return of American-African family from Are We There Yet? where they move from the big city to the suburbs for a tranquil life. Ice Cube's cool as funny in this sequel family movie. I believe it's a bit familiar to 1986's The Money Pit.

    Yeah, we're done.
  • August 31, 2007
Yes...are we? Ice Cube..are we done making this crap??

I normally don't care about what other people think of my opinion of a movie but this is one of those rare times I do. I'm embarresed to give it 3 stars without some explanation as to why so here goes: I love Scrubs--love, love, love it. It's one of the funniest shows ever made. ... read moreWhy do I say that you ask? Why because John McGinley is in this film (better know as Dr. Perry Cox). McGinley is the only redeeming factor in this uninspired sequel and damn it he just as FUNNY!

An acknowledged remake of the old Cary Grant movie Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House. As far as I could tell, that's because everyone involved was inspired by the syllable "Bland" in the title. Full Review

The new movie is good-natured and sometimes funny. It also doesn't make a lick of sense. Full Review

The actors are all likable, the film moves at a brisk pace and there are even one or two jokes that appear to be original. Full Review
