Clint Eastwood still acts wonderfully and the film has slightly better pacing than its predecessor but ultimately the jokes are tired and resultingly the film is any which way but good.

A disappointing sequel to a fairly good Eastwood action comedy. Philo is back and trying to forget Sondra Locke so is fighting full tilt. Clyde is still disrespecting authority and the Black Widows are out for Philo's head. It has some laughs but is just retread of the first film... read more

It's Eastwood. It's a monkey. It's a lot funnier if you're blind drunk.
The first one was goofy enough; this sequel is pretty darn bad. Possibly Eastwood's worst flick ever, actually.
