While it retained some of the darker side that made the first such an original and personal childhood favorite of mine, the overall feel that made the first special was gone. Not to say that certain parts didn't tug at you and some seemed to mesh okay, but several factors hinder... read moreed it. The pure absurdity of the plot is something I can usually negate because well it's an animated film or a movie in general, but things were just pointless and thrown together. The source elements of the film as well as the transfer itself were cheaply thrown together and slapped on a Blu-ray disc unfortunately. Granted I expected this but it didn't help an already lifeless and down in the dumps film with it's animated characters moving around in, what my friend Brad called, an oil canvas painting. While I know much much older films that use this in background shots, the whole film was done in this way except characters and it made a further disconnect. I'd stick to the original for sure.

    Loved this movie.

First of all, Barkin's already dead. Second of all, this film is trying to make people hate cats. The story has more action than the first one which is the only entertaining part of all.

This is the movie I remember the most because I've seen this more times than the first one, but I liked this a lot when it first came out.

    Loved this movie!
    The kids really enjoyed it!
Teaches not to be self centered and to love unconditionally!
