Okay, I am not going to say this was a good movie, but I still don't get the hate on it. I actually kind of liked Sandra's weird girl character here. It gets dull in the middle, and it's not the happy ending you go into a rom com expecting, but it had a message of self acceptan... read more

Loved it! Don't understand why Sandra Bullock got a Razzie for this? Amazing film and so funny. She plays a bunny boiler extremely well and yet funny too. It's such a hard thing to do and she does it perfectly. Sends out a postive message and the end is magnificent. A must see! I... read more

Not much to say... other than it takes 1.5 hours to get through it. To say it is a cute movie is strech.

well this was kind of those romcom movies that you know is going to be rubbish and this film certainly doesnt disappoint!
Although i like its originality and its not like your typical jennifer aniston romcom it still doesnt interest you enough to watch it again or remember it!

Hilarious comedy that had me laughing the whole movie. I don't know why people didn't like this movie because it was great. Give this movie a try & you might like it, because I did.

Bad acting, bad script, bad ending, bad boots. I wish it could have worked, but it didn't. Points though for the last twenty minutes. Doesn't redeem the film, but makes the rest sort of worth it.

March 7, 2010fb733768972By all means, there is absolutely no humor anywhere! It is definately the worst film of the year, however, that being said: It is soo ridiculous that it is actually laughable. It is 100% a guilty pleasure, but a horrible one!

Some people just don't take no for an answer. Or goodbye. Or go to hell. Sandra Bullock plays one of those people in All About Steve, a film about a newspaper crossword author whose mind runs a little bit too fast. When Mary (Bullock) gets set up on a blind date with Steve (Bradl... read more

Oops, sorry, we're not supposed to think of Mary as mentally ill, psychologically unbalanced, or any of those painful things, just full of gumption and sunny determination. Full Review
There's no footing in reality. Nothing about it feels authentic. Full Review
A screwball comedy missing more than a few crucial screws. Full Review
Despite her downward-tilted head and her nattering ways, Mary really does want to connect. Watching her realize this isn't deep but it is sweet. Full Review
There's nothing wrong with All About Steve that a rewrite couldn't fix, as long as the rewrite involved a different writer, a different character and a different story. Full Review
Bullock, easing into her mid-40s with box-office mojo intact, remains the star attraction as the annoyingly endearing Mary. You simply can't imagine another actor of her stature pulling it off. Full Review
It seems incredible, but the grimly unfunny comedy All About Steve might just be the worst movie on Sandra Bullock's résumé. Full Review
He's the thing that lets Mary -- and the movie -- off the crazy hook. It quickly devolves into one of those 'what's normal anyway?' stories, and Bullock's dedication to the role is ultimately undermined. Full Review
