June 6, 2007I couldn't get into this movie much. It relied a lot on the narrative of the book, and used a lot of strange special effects which took me out of the experience. It was a bit too difficult to understand or appreciate.

March 9, 2008I saw this, and it was so bizarre! Ian Holm should not be in armor--it dwarfs his size. I seriously did not recognize Kate Beckinsale as Alice.
