I can't believe that "Alaska" isn't getting better reviews than it is. A movie doesn't have to be one of the best ever to be a great movie. I thought it was a good all around movie. Two teens go on a search for their father after his plane crashes and the police show that they're... read more

Really corny stuff here, poorly acted. One of the few pluses is some great scenery. The writing is ordinary and cliched. It lacks excitement, the humor is strained. Bland.

Trust the bear. Trust the bear. As long as the bear goes and sees another movie. Cause this one was a waste of time.

Another "kids ignoring parental advice, doing something stupid on their own, almost getting killed, but in the end it's all okay. Good job kids!"

Sweet. I would watch this again, but I kept thinking to myself, they are stupid, well they sure acted like it once in a while, still it was a good movie.
Critic Reviews
Charlton Heston, though he has saved the Jews and a whole bunch of other distressed folk in the past, along with painting the Sistine Chapel, can't rescue his son's picture.
Really bad performances, an awful script straight out of a TV movie of the week and one of the least appealing, most irritating young heroes in recent screen history Full Review
