Not quite as good as the original, but I love the air bud movies, just by how much fun can be take out of them. They are a fun ride to watch, and this football frenzy with a mutt is awesome!

A dog that can play football? That's crazy! And yet Disney came up with another Air Bud movie. It fit perfectly into the Disney live-action family film line. Filmed on a shoestring budget, it somehow worked for a triumph of basic animal family comedy sports extravaganza.

The dog playing Air Bud in the end of the movie is a different dog from the one in the beginning. This is one talented dog.

I saw the original Air Bud. It was adorable for 4-year old boys and their little brothers. At least it has that value because the sequels are downright silly.
