Mildly creepy Korean drama. I was expecting this to be a more horror themed film but it's more of a family drama. Visually it's got class and parts of the story have intrigue up untill the shock reveal at the end. The problem was that it's just so slow-paced and boring at times, ... read moreand there were no scares at all. It's ok overall though, I just got myself in the wrong mood whilst watching it.

Simple but rather effective. Take the average helping of Asian creepy kid and then how guilt can bring about ghosts within oneself. It's all very slow and subtle, building tension without ever having a reasonable pay off. This film gets under the skin and works its way through. M... read moreost scares take place inside the minds of the characters, though one unsettling scene involving ants has one of the harshest pop sound effects on film. Unfortunately the relaxed and creepy atmosphere soon becomes dull and hard to stomach. It's chilling enough but also requires some emotional investment which becomes hard as the films family becomes more and more detached and distant.

I love the unconventional narrative and the slow burn of the plot. You have to have the patience of a saint to get through the entire thing without your mind wandering at least once, but I found the reward to be suitable. The collapse of the family unit may well be the most horri... read morefying thing about this film.

Very well made, but not a cheap thrills kind of horror movie. One of the saddest ghost stories put to celluloid, and although I recommend seeing it once, it's not one I'm eager to revisit any time soon.

    Less spooky, more sad.

I watched the first hour of this film and than got a splitting headache (completely unrelated) and missed the ending. The part I saw was kind of creepy but in general boreing.

An intriguing idea, interesting plot and multiple twists at the end made this a pretty good show. I think something might have gotten lost in traslation though- while subtitled, it was almost impossible to follow some of the little nuances in the plot.

Great movie! It was a bit slow in the beginning, but once it picked up, it really got my attention and kept me on the edge of my seat. The whole movie keeps you guessing what's going to happen next, and the ending is sure to surprise you!
